I participated in the Onyx data challenge of Netflix analysis. It was very interesting as well as informative. I found many highlighting points about the Netflix platform.
The dataset is filled will all text-based column only which let me create a different view and calculations unlike numeric value
Key Highlights
Drama is the most listed genre type
United state based show is most featured but it is interesting to notice that Anupum Kher, an Indian actor is the most casted name worked with 30 different directors.
The number of movies launched is almost double of TV shows.
The majority of Netflix content is rated TV-MA which shows their target audience is 17+
TV Shows VS Movies on Netflix
The Movie release rate is much higher on Netflix compare to TV Series.

Indian Actors are ruling Netflix
It is proud to see that Indian actors are listing on top of the list with the most release movies. The Netflix India content is booming rapidly and seeing Anupum kher a renowned actor at the top is nothing to be shocked about.
Netflix Top 5 Rating
As per Netflix data, the 5 ratings are as follows:
TV-MA: Mature only content. The programme designed for 17+ audience.
TV-14: Parents strongly cautioned. Not suitable for children under age 14.
TV-PG: Parental guidance suggested. This content can or cannot be watched by children as per parent guidance
R: Restricted. The audience below age 17 needs parents permission.
PG-13: Parents strongly cautioned. Unsuitable content for under 13 audience
